Taking over as Elphaba

There are times in a teacher's life where you are extra proud of a student's accomplishments.  Christine Dwyer (a recent Sunday Spotlight guest and former Hartt School Student of mine) is moving from Standby to actually taking over the role of Elphaba on Broadway in Wicked.

She's a level headed performer who works hard and has a wonderful voice of course.  Her first year as a freshman we had to come to an understanding about how to be prepared for lessons etc and she wrote me a letter that I kept acknowledging that she deserved to be in my studio. :)

Again, so super pumped for her and her Broadway career!
